Idaho Power -- headquartered in vibrant Boise, Idaho – is looking for an Internal Auditor II to join our Audit Services team.

So what does an Internal Auditor do for us? They are responsible for providing consulting assistance to multiple business units, conducting audits of business processes and activities, and developing reports and presentations for management.

For this role, the ideal candidate would have experience in internal auditing standards, techniques, control standards (COSO), information systems controls (COBIT) and Sarbanes-Oxley. They’ll have strong organizational, communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently, maintain objectivity and confidentiality, quickly learn complex concepts, and make sound judgements based on analysis of facts. In addition, audit experience with public accounting firms and/or internal auditing experience with large SEC companies would be helpful.

For the Auditor II position, this is an exempt position with a salary range of $83,553.60 - $100,630.40. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, professional certification (CIA, CISA, and/or CPA), plus five or more years of experience in auditing business processes and activities is required. Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree and/or experience working in public accounting.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

Prefer:

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related discipline

Experience:

  • Five plus years of experience in auditing business processes and activities

Prefer:

  • Public accounting experience

  • Internal Audit experience with large SEC organizations

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Professional certification (CIA, CISA, CPA)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Some travel and possible overnight stays required
