Idaho Power -- headquartered in vibrant Boise, Idaho – is looking for an IT Business Systems Analyst to join its technology team. So, what does a Business Systems Analyst do for us? They work with business units at a project level, as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements of business processes, policies, and information systems related to work management related business processes within our Power Production organization.

For this role, the ideal candidate would be familiar with Asset Suite, the enterprise resource planning system we use. They would also understand business analyst principles, requirements management, business case development, elicitation, communication, analysis, process modeling, software configuration and testing. A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field or an equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and/or certifications is required.

We are hiring one person for this role, dependent on experience, as either– a Business Systems Analyst or a Senior Business Systems Analyst. Pay for this exempt position ranges from $ 72,009.60 - $108,388.80.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

BSA

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field or an equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and/or certifications

Experience:

  • 2 years professional level IT/business experience with a minimum of 1 year business analyst experience

  • Prefer:

  • Previous BSA experience supporting large vendor supplied ERP systems (i.e. Maximo, SAP, Oracle E-Business, Asset Suite, etc.), highly desirable candidate will have background with ABB product called Asset Suite, previously called PassPort.

  • Prior Utility work background within a Power Production organization

  • Proficient SQL skills

Licenses & Certifications: N/A

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Senior BSA

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field or an equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and/or certifications

Experience:

  • 5 years professional level IT/business experience with a minimum of 3 years business analyst experience.

  • Prefer:

  • 4 years of business analyst experience in technology.

  • Previous BSA experience supporting large vendor supplied ERP systems (i.e. Maximo, SAP, Oracle E-Business, Asset Suite, etc.), highly desirable candidate will have background with ABB product called Asset Suite, previously called PassPort.

  • Prior Utility work background within a Power Production organization

  • Proficient SQL skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Minimal supervision is provided. Completed work is intermittently reviewed.

Some field work and possible overnight travel
